Biography
Mary Thompson was born in 1827 in England, having one parent from Ireland and the other from England.
She married William Hartshorn, born in Dublin, Ireland and had 6 children with him.
By 1856, Mary and William were living in Iowa with William's sister, Isabell M. Hartshorn, 18 and their very first born daughter, Isabell (who would die later that same year, not even a year old).
