Florence was born about December 1878, shown in the 1891 Canada census at Bathurst Township, Lanark County, Ontario.
Most records show a meaningless middle initial N. But two records of her son later showed that N = Nightingale, so named after the well-known nurse, Florence Nightingale! Why was it so hard to show the name in full?
She married William James Childerhose, on 26 Sep 1900 at Cobden, Ontario.
They were shown in the 1901 Canada census at or near Renfrew, Ontario, with her name apparently written "Flarence Childerhose" - or maybe that was due to someone's bad handwriting. She was 21, identified as "son's wife". Does this record refer to the town of Renfrew, or only the county of Renfrew? Unclear. Since there is no indication to the contrary, I assume it was again at Cobden, in Renfrew County.
The 1911 Canada census showed Florence with her husband and children Henry, Vera, Stephen and Stewart, apparently in a rural area near Renfrew, Ontario (again, maybe it only means Renfrew County? )
She apparently died in 1957. Place of death isn't shown in records but she was buried at Cobden, in Renfrew County, Ontario, so I assume that was also the place of death. Why is it seeminlgly so difficult to clearly show locations in these records?
