Biography

Callie" was the daughter of Benedict 'Benny' Joseph & Adaline Frances(Grindstaff) Thompson.

Callie's first marriage was to Cornelious Newland in 1888. They had seven children; Francis Marion, Eva Mae, Alma, Miriam (Aunt Mi), Thompson, Rodrick, Eunice. Cornelious died in 1907.

Callie's second marriage was to Alva Long. They married Oct 17, 1908. (He was Eva's age & was a brother to Eva's future husband, Dee Long.) He passed away in 1918 from pneumonia.

Her third marriage was to Joseph Bronkovich. They married 26 Mar 1920 in Jackson Co., MO. She was listed as age 40(she was 49) & Joe was 25. They were divorced before 1930.

Callie's fourth marriage was to James 'Jim' A Keck on Jul 23, 1935.
