Kendrick was born in 1905. He was the son of Owen Thompson and Allie Ford. He passed away in 1993.
Services for Kendrick F. "Mr. Tommy" Thompson will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. [1]
Thompson, 87, of Pineville died at 3:55 a.m. Saturday. July 10, 1993. in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Hospital, Alexandria.
He was a retired chief warrant officer with the U.S. Army, a veteran of World War II and was currently employed as a shop superintendent for the military department for the State of Louisiana.
He was a member of the Reserve Officer's Association, Johnson Brown Post No. 1736 VFW, George M. Simmons Post No. 3, American Legion and Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda F. Thompson of Pineville; three sons, Kendrick F. Thompson Jr. of Covington, James M. Pugh of Pineville and Raymond F. "Tom" Thompson of Pineville; 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home. [2]
