Susannah was born in 1848. She passed away in 1897.

Research Notes

Find A Grave has her linked with David Daniel Thompson and Martha Wood as parents. If Susannah were born in 1848 she would be in the household in the 1850 census. There is no name similar to hers in David and Martha's household in 1850.^[1]

She didn't marry until 1871^[2], which means in 1870 most likely she would still be in the household of her mother with her other unwed siblings, but she isn't.^[3]

In the 1880 census it lists that both of her parents were born in Kentucky.^[4]

However, there is a Susan Ann/Susannah that fits her age, geographical locations, and parents both born in Kentucky. An Elijah Thompson married Mary Ann Watson in 1841 in McCracken County, Kentucky. The 1850 census shows them in McCracken County with a daughter Susan Ann born in Kentucky in 1848.^[5] In 1860 the family has relocated to Marshall County, Kentucky. There is a female "S Thompson" born 1848 in Kentucky in the household.^[6] The 1870 census finds Susan Thomson, born in 1847, in Bishop District, Marshall, Kentucky.^[7] Her future spouse is also located in Bishop District, Marshall, Kentucky in 1870.^[8]
