Elizabeth (alias Eliza), the second of fourteen children of Amos Thompson (1751-1817) and Mary Thompson (1754-1815) was born about 1774 at New Haven Connecticut. Her father, Amos, was the son of Stephen Thompson (1720-1808) and Hannah Rowe (1724-1776) of New Haven. Her mother was the daughter of John Thompson (1719-1781) and Elizabeth Bradley (1725- 1764) of New Haven, Connecticut.
Eliza married William Brintnall Jr., the son of William and Abigail (Munson) Brintnall on 17 May 1804 at New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.[1]Eliza and William had two children born at New Haven:
Eliza (Thompson) Brintnall died on 9 April 1838 in her 64th year at New Haven, Connecticut based on her headstone inscription at the Grove Street Cemetery.[2]
