She emigrated from England to New Zealand where she married Charles Kessell White in 1890.
They had the following children:
- Doris Maude (b. 1891)
- Roy Kessell (b. 1894)
- Mabel Vera (b. 1895)
Sadly her son Roy was killed in the 1st World War.
Her husband passed away in 1937.
She passed away in 1944 at the age of 78.
