Biography
John was born about 1728 and was most like the son of Samuel Thorn and his second wife Esther.[1]
He married his first wife Anne Dean, daughter of Nicholas and Deborah Dean about 1750,[1] John and Anne had three sons who were named in his Will[2]:
Stephen Thorn
Samuel Thorn
Nicholas Thorn
After Anne's death, John married a second time. Children from his second marriage were[2]:
John Thorn, Jr.
Phebe Thorn married Germond
Peggy Thorn married Crandell
