Biography
William was born in Mississippi in 1902. His parents were John (aka Jack) G Thornton and Mary Elizabeth Searcy. In 1910, the family was living in Smith County, Mississippi.[1] They were in Polkville, Smith, Mississippi in 1920.[2]
