David was born about 1901. He was the son of Robert Thornton and Alice Carey.

1920: Lived at 14 Warren Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ with mother, brother Robert, and sisters Ernestine and Roberta. Single.[1]

C. 1925: Marriage to Ruth Harris.[2]

1930: Lived at 12 Perry Place, Summit, NJ with Ruth, David, Joan, John Harris (father-in-law), and James A. Mountain. [3]

1940: Lived at 36 Brooklake Rd, Florham Park, NJ with Ruth, David, and Joan.[4]

He passed away about 1952.
