Biography

William 'Will' Alexander Thornton was born on June 1, 1868, in Tennessee, the son of Spicy (Sanders) and Major (Alexander?). He married widow Tennessee Rosalee "Tennie" (Dotson) Carr on January 11, 1906, in Giles, Tennessee. They had five children in 19 years. He died on March 4, 1937, in Giles, Tennessee, at the age of 68, and was buried in Goodspring, Tennessee.
