John Thorold 9th Bt is Notable.

John Thorold was born on 18 December 1734 and christened at St James', Westminster on 5 January 1735.^[1][2] He was the son of John Thorold and Elizabeth Ayton.

John married Jane Hayford in St Mary's, Marylebone, London on 18 March 1771^[3].

John became 9th Baronet Thorold upon the death of his father, Sir John Thorold, 8th Bt, on 5 June 1775. He served as MP for Lincolnshire from 1779 until 1796.

The Will of Sir John Thorold was written on 23 December 1812, he died 25 February 1815, proved on 5 April 1815, administration granted to John Hayford Thorold the son, the named executors having renounced.^[4]

The Will was left unadministered by his son John Hayford Thorold. Jane Wood was the wife of Charles Thorold Wood. On 21 January 1855 administration was granted to Sir John Charles Thorold Baronet, the son of John Hayford Thorold, John Trollope Baronet the nephew and Charles Chaplin having renounced. On 21 December 1866, a note that the residuary legatees had all since died. Administration granted to John George Bowes Thoroton Hildyard (executor of the Will of Sir John Charles Thorold deceased)
