Biography
Isabella Thorold was the daughter of Sir John Thorold, 8th Baronet and Elizabeth Ayton. Isabella, child of John Thorold Esq. and Eliz Thorold, was born in about 1733 and baptised on 1 July 1733 in St James, Piccadilly (St James, Westminster), London, Westminster, England.[1]
On Saturday night died at North Luffenham, in Rutland, aged 69, Mrs. Trollope, mother of Sir John Trollope, Bart. of Caswick House, near this place; a lady whose virtues were an ornament to her sex and a blessing to society; who by her amiable and placid temper, elegant and unaffected politeness, by her benevolence, friendship, charity, and piety, has left many a generous breast long to feel and lament her loss.
