Biography
Anna (Thorp) Batty was born in Yorkshire, England.
Anna was born in Goole and baptised in Hook, Yorkshire, in 1744. She was the daughter of Richard Thorp.[1]
In 1765 Anna married John Batty in South Cave, Yorkshire.[2] According to Anna's Will their children were:[3]

Anna was a beneficiary of her father's Will upon his death in 1783:
"Also I give and bequeath unto Anna Batty Wife of John Batty of Yokefleet the sum of thirty Pounds to be paid to her at my Death or Decease to her and her heirs forever."[4]
John died in 1786.[5] Anna died in 1793 and was buried in Blacktoft, Yorkshire.[6] Her Will was proved in February 1794.[3]
