Biography
Beatrice was born in 1878 in Stalybridge, Cheshire.
Her father is William Thomas Thorp and her mother Sarah Greenwood. [1]
She married James Fairweather Craik in 1905. [2]
Together they had a daughter. Beatrice Thorp Craik.
After James passed away, Beatrice Craik born Thorp and her daughter Beatrice Thorp Craik left to go to England. They are mentioned in the census 1911 Stalybridge, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. She resided here, 33 years old together with her Mum Sarah Sharp, and Dad William Thomas Sharp and daughter Beatrice Thorp Craik.
Note : her surname is here registered as Sharp. However, this is wrong. It is Thorp.
It is very funny to read that her daughters birthplace is written in England as Marlisburg, Sants Africa (meaning Pietermaritzburg, South Africa).

In 1881 she resided together with her Mum and Dad, siblings and a servant on Melbourne Street, Dukinfield, Cheshire, Lancnshire, England. At that time she was 2 years old. [3]
In 1911, her father William Thomas was 66 years old born in Stalybridge, Cheshire. Her mother Sarah was 62 years old born in Stalybridge, Cheshire. Beatrice was 33 years old born in Stalybridge, Cheshire. Her daughter Beatrice Thomp Craik was 5 years old, born in Marlisburg Sants Africa Natal. [4]
She married Henry Rudolph Crawley in 1915 in Newcastle, Natal, South Africa. [5]
He passed away on 9 August 1948. Beatrice was still alive.
I assume she passed away about 1950.
