According to the History of Ogle County, 1878, and the 1880 US Census for Flagg, Ogle, Illinois, seven-year-old Alice P. Thorp, daughter of A. A. and Harriet (Smith) Thorp, of the Flagg, Ogle, Illinois area was born in March 1873 in Illinois. Alice passed away after 1880.
