Jennette Oxley was baptized on 25th July 1813, at St. Philip, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Jennette was the daughter of John Oxley Charlotte Thorpe and was born nine months after Charlotte a female convict and John the recently appointed Surveyor General of New South Wales arrived from England on the Minstrel on 26 Oct 1812.
On Census it states Frances and Jeanette (Sisters) arrived in Australia on the Cape Packet in 1828. They were born in Australia but taken back to England by Isabella Molesworth to be educated. In 1828 Jeanette was 15 and Francis was 13. They were living with Isabella
Jeanette died in Sydney, New South Wales Australia on 12th January 1875
