LANCASTER - Mr. James

Crawford Threatt, 71, of 1006 Rocky River Road died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at home.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at High Point Baptist Church cemetery,

with the Rev. David Newton officiating.

A native of Lancaster County, Mr. Threatt was a son of the late Jessie James Threatt

and Alice Wright Threatt. He was a retired employee of Owen E. Gupton Roofing.

Surviving are his stepmother, Ruby Lee Threatt of Lancaster; two brothers,

Jerry Threatt and Wayne Threatt, both of Lancaster; and two sisters,

Ruth Powers and Myrtice Carter, both of Lancaster.

The family will receive friends ~ after the service and at other times

at the home. Mahaffey Funeral Home is in charge.
