Clifford N. Threatt

Clifford N. Threatt, 89, of Commerce, died Wednesday, September 8, 1999.

Mr. Threatt was born August 18, 1910, son of the late Odell and Doshia Bone Threatt.

He was a self-employed restaurant owner. Mr. Threatt was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda H. Threatt, and a son, Gene Threatt.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 10, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce. Burial was in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.

Survivors include grandchildren, Scott Threatt and Carolyn Thoennes, both of Greenville, S.C., and Hamp Gary and Hillary Gary, both of Commerce; two great-grandchildren, R.J. and Reagan Thoennes, both of Greenville, S.C.; and a niece, Alma Grace Gary.

COMMERCE - Clifford N. Threatt, 89, died Wednesday, September 8, 1999.

Mr. Threatt was born August 18, 1910, the son of the late Odell and Doshia Bone Threatt.

He was a restaurant owner. Mr. Threatt was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda H. Threatt, and a son, Gene Threatt.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 10, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.

Survivors include grandchildren, Scott Threatt and Carolyn Thoennes, both of Greenville, S.C., and Hamp and Hillary Gary, Commerce; great-grandchildren, R.J. and Reagan Thoennes, both of Greenville, S.C.; and a niece, Alma Grace Gary.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ivie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
