Biography

George Throckmorton was born in 1721. The inscription on his monument in Bath Abbey says that he was "of Weston Underwood in the County of Bucks". He passed away in 1762. (He was previously supposed to have died in 1762, but the inscription on his grave monument in Bath Abbey clearly says 1762.)

Children: Teresa Metcalf, Mary (died 1763), Robert 1750-1779, Anne (died 1783), Francis (died 1788).

To the Memory of GEORGE THROCKMORTON, Esqr.

of Weston Underwood in the County of Bucks.

who died 30th December 1762.

And of his Children who died as under.

ANNE November 6th 1783.
