Biography

Childhood

Clement Throckmorton was born in 1561 at Newry, County Down, Ireland, the son of Katherine Nevill and Clement Throckmorton.^[1] Clement Throckmorton was the fifth of their eight sons and the seventh of their fifteen children.^[2]

Clement Throckmorton matriculated from Magdalen Colledge, Oxford University in 1578, aged 17.^[3] He was also a student of Middle Temple in 1582.^[3]

Family Life

Clement, son of Katherine Nevill and Clement Throckmorton, married his 6th cousin once removed Elizabeth Ludford, widowed daughter of Rose Cave and Simon Harcourt, on 28 November 1593 at Wroxall,Warwickshire.^{[4] [5]}

Clement and Elizabeth Throckmorton's children included:

Clement Throckmorton, a gentleman, passed away about 1612. Probate on his July 1611 Will was granted on 14 November 1612.^[8] The named beneficiaries included:
