Biography
Children of Joseph and Esther: Patience b.1722 m. James Whitney - Esther b.1728 m. Benjamin Whitney - Abigail b.1734 (died young) - Rhoda b.1735 (no info).
Esther also had a son by a previous marriage (according to the Thurston Genealogies) but I have no information regarding that yet.
Also according to the Thurston Genealogies Esther was the daughter of Thomas Thurston (b.1670) son of Capt. Thomas Thurston (b.1633) and Sarah Thaxter (b.1635)) and Esther Clarke (b.1654/69) most likely the dau. of Joseph Clark/Clarke (b.1642) and Mary Allen (b.1641)) however, I am still trying to verify this information.
