Biography
Samuel was born in 1775. He is the son of David Thurston and Eunice Whitney. He married Jan 1, 1800 Sally French. He resided for several years in the old "Red Tavern"then removed to Alstead, where he died Dec 23, 1873. His wife died March 2, 1839. [1]
Samuel Thurston and Sally French married on 13 Jul 1800 in Marlborough, New Hampshire. This is slightly different than the date reported in the Marlborough Town History. That earlier date could be the marriage notice.
