Nathaniel Gamage Thurston⁶ (Ambrose⁵ , John⁴ , Joseph³ , Joseph² , Daniel¹), son of Ambrose and Polly (Gamage) Thurston of Mt. Desert, Me.; born in Rockport, Mass., May 2, 1790; married, June 11, 1811 ^[1], Elizabeth Robbins, born Nov. 25, 1790, daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth (Colby) Robbins of Cambridge, Mass. He was a farmer and master mariner in Deer Isle, Me.; a Methodist; died May 1, 1856. ^[1]
