Charles Thériault, son of Joseph Thériault and Marie Melanson, was born on
18 February 1776 at Villeaubel, Bretagne (present day département of Côtes-d'Armor, France.[1] He married Anne Dixon, daughter of Jean Dixon and Elisabeth Gertrude Brasseur, on 29 February 1808 in Bonaventure. [2][3] It is written in the register that Charle’s parents are from St-Malo.
