He passed away in 1793. He is buried in Union Cemetery in Scituate.[3]
Probate
The will of Thomas Tilden of Scituate, yeoman was dated 5 June 1793 and proved on 2 September 1793 in Plymouth. He mentioned his wife Abigail, and his children, Thomas, Joseph, Abigail, Deborah, wife of Joseph Bailey, Mary, Lydia, Patience, Sibell, John (executor), and Amos.[4]
His inventory was taken on 15 November 1793 in Scituate.[5]
In 1797, an account of his estate by John Tilden was recorded which included the sale of real estate, debts paid, gravestones, and administration fees.[6]
