George Thomas Tiller was born on 7 October 1865 at Bald Hills near Yankalilla, South Australia. He was the son of William Tiller and Mary Tucker.[1]
He married Caroline Agnes Parker on 26 February 1890 at the residence of Mrs S J Williams East Moonta. He was 24, son of William Tiller; she was 18, daughter of Charles Parker.[2]

George Thomas Tiller married again on 12 May 1930 at Holy Trinity Church, Adelaide to Lillian Mary Watkins. He was a 64-year-old widower, son of William Tiller. She was a 60-year-old widow, daughter of Henry William Pegler.[5]
He passed away aged 71 on 28 December 1936 at a hospital in Adelaide. His residence was recorded as Walkerville.[6] He was buried at West Terrace Cemetery.[7]
