Biography
William was born during May of 1854 in Arkansas. [1]
1870 Census: William C Tillery is living with his parents, Leonard B. (38) and Elizabeth (35) Tillery, in the Marble Township of Saline County, Arkansas. The record indicates that Willaim was 16 and born in Arkansas. Also residing in the home were William's siblings Laura (4) and Francine Dora (1).[2]
30 Oct 1877: William C Tillery and Miss Malissa Hunter (24) were married in Saline County, Arkansas. The record shows that William was 23 and a resident of Marble, Saline County, Arkansas.[3][4]
1900 Census: Wm C Tillery and his wife Mallisa (47) are living in Waco, Texas. The record notes that Wm was 46, born in Arkansas during May of 1854, and that he had been married to Mallisa for 22 years. There are 3 children in the home: Francis (21), Andrew (19), and James W. (18).[5]
