Hi again Jason,

Thank you for all the work that you have done for the England Project. I do not seem to have had a response from you from the recent England Project check in.

If I do not hear from you within the next 2 weeks I will presume that you wish to leave the project. If you leave us, I hope that you will want to re-join us sometime in the future. You can do this by responding to our G2G post. https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1516540/is-2023-your-year-to-join-the-england-project

Hi Maddy! Thanks for checking in. I hope to resume the orphan trail soon. I have taken a bit of leave of absense recently due to a career change, graduate school, and other life stuff, but I certainly will be contributing more in the future. In the meantime, I have collected a few books that should be excellent resources when I get my pre-1500 permissions. Looking forward to many more years of contributing to WikiTree.

Hey Jason, I am Charles Jules & Lizzie French Richard’s Great Grandson. I was wondering if you or anybody you know, might know where they are buried. I’m guessing St. Charles Borromeo in Grand Coteau but haven’t found anything to corroborate. I live a few hours from there or I’d take a ride to see for myself but considering how big it is, that might take a couple days!! Any help would be appreciated!!

Yes, I am very happy with the England Project leaders. My only problem is that I haven't more time to contribute because of my recent career changes. That should change as I get up to speed with the new job. Love to see all the great work everyone on the project is doing! Good to hear from you!

Yes. I have a tremendous amount of documentation and information on the Rawls family.

I have the ACTUAL BIBLE of Daniel Rawls which lists his parents, 3 wives. Their children and each of their marriages

I found information about my Axford family on the page for Brad Cummingham. My 4 times great grandmother is Elizabeth Axford born about 1730. She married Richard Hiscott who was born about 1730 in Longbridge Deverill, Wiltshire. Their son, Edward Axford Hiscott married Rebekah Payne and the family went to Niagara, Ontario in 1829. I would appreciate any information about the Axford family and the Hiscott family. Shirley (Hiscott) Dyment

This is the DNA we share on Gedmatch:

Chr B37 Start Pos'n B37 End Pos'n Centimorgans (cM) SNPs Car 32,596,995 36,299,238 7.3 524

It looks like Wills is our connection. I’m from the Virginia branch but there is a Maryland branch that uses the same forenames like Ignatius, Justinian, and John B. I do think they are related.

Hi Jason,

It's that time of the year again: check-in time! As England Project Leaders, we like to check in with you every six months or so to see how things are progressing. Back in May, we didn't ask for a response due to the rapid emergence of Covid-19 because we understood that people's lives were changing rapidly. While we are still living in a Covid world, we do need to hear back from you this time around

First of all, how are you doing? What are you currently working on? Are you happy with the team(s) you're in, or would you like to change things up?

Secondly, we're looking for some feedback on the Google Group and our Discord server. Do you use either or both of these? If you don't use either, why not? Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve participation and collaboration, either generally or for you personally?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Lizzie, Amy, Joan

England Project Leaders

This are going good. I am currently working on Thomas Tyley (bef.1748-bef.1791) as part of the OT. I am very happy with my team leader, Brad Cunningham. He has been helpful and patient. Soon after choosing this last profile, Hurricane Zeta hit my area, so it has slowed my progress. I have been spending much of my free time working on my fence, but plan to finish this profile soon. As far as the google groups, I mostly just check the email updates. I'm not sure I realized there was a Discord group, but I may prefer using that in the future if I need some guidance. Anyway, I'm looking forward to graduating and moving on to OT2.

Interesting catch. Yes it looks like your 2x great-grandmother Lockey Jackson married a Tilley. I am not familiar with these Tilleys.

Hi Jason

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Louisiana Families Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Karen ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Hi Jason

On behalf of the Louisiana Families Project, we are doing a periodic check-in with members. Please review the project page [1], and if you feel you are able and would like to contribute to the project in the upcoming months, please let me know by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. If you have other obligations or interests at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Jason, I can send you a listing of Mathilde Burleigh and Charles Miller's children or I can place them in Charles' entry, under notes. I didn't want to enter them without checking with you first. Some managers don't like the clutter in their entries, lol
Hey, I found a picture with a couple of your profiles in it - tagged them, but just wanted to let you know!

Richardson-14006 and Richardson-14007

Take a look, it is a group portrait and there may be some more of yours in there. By the way we are probably related in some way; my grand-dad is in that portrait also! :)

Welcome to the Louisiana Families project!

The project account has a handy set of links on it... I use it most to connect to the Google Group. It's also listed in Category:Louisiana Families Project along with other project members who have added the category to their profile (encouraged, but not a requirement).

Please stop by the project page - I've added your name to the members listed there, if you'd like to add to it. If not, you or I can delete it next week or so.

Cheers, Liz

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
