Biography
Leolla Estelle Tillman was born on 10 Aug 1883.
In the 1900 census Leola (age 16) was the single daughter of Hanty H Tillman in Staughns School House, Covington, Alabama.[1]
Leolla married James M. Johns (born on 27 Nov 1876, died on 19 Nov 1940)[2]
Their child was Eva V. (Johns) Gammage.
In the 1910 census Ester (age 25), Farm Laborer, was the wife of J M Johns in Straughn, Covington, Alabama, United States.[3]
In the 1920 census Leola (age 36), None, was the wife of James M Johns in Straughn School House, Covington, Alabama.[4]
In the 1930 census Esta (age 46) was the wife of James M Johns in Dunes Bridge Road, Staughns Schoolhouse, Covington, Alabama, United States.[5]
In the 1940 census Leola (age 56) was the wife of James M Johns in Straughns Schoolhouse, Covington, Alabama.[6]
Leolla died on 23 Feb 1965 aged 81. She is buried in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Straughn, Covington County, Alabama, USA.[7][8]
