Biography

There are two sources for Ann Tilson's birthday; one is January 29, 1791^[1]

A loose insert in the same book which appears to be part of a newsletter (but no date), lists her birth date as Feb 9, 1788. Using the earlier date based on age at birth of first child (18 vs 15).

She married George Gollehon and their first child was born in 1806. ^[2]They had eight children:

5. Sarah Ann
6. Eliza
7. Thomas
8. James E. ^[3]

She passed away 12 Apr 1842 and is buried next to her husband, George.at Saint Clair's Bottom Primitive Church Cemetery, Chilhowie, VA^[4]
