Biography
Jennifer Lyn (Tilton) Kerr, 42, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, entered into eternal peace Monday, Sept. 7, 2015.
Born Oct. 2, 1972, in Springfield, Jennifer was the daughter of Gary Tilton, of Enfield, and Wanda (Krasa) Tilton, of Somers. She was employed with Cumberland Farms as a sales associate. Jennifer enjoyed photography and was an avid reader. A loving and caring mother, daughter and friend, her highest priority was family.
Besides her parents, Jennifer is survived by her children, Jacob Tilton, of Chicopee, and Sierrah Kenyan, of Orlando, Florida. She also leaves her sister, Wendy McCorry, of New Paltz, New York; an uncle, Walter Krasa, of Richlands, North Carolina; an aunt, Jeannette Grzybowski, of Sevierville, Tennessee; and her partner and best friend, Jay Holmes, of Chicopee. Jennifer was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Chester and Edwina Krasa; paternal grandparents, Lynwood and Grace Tilton; and her uncles, Edward and Joseph Krasa.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. prior to services.
Donations in Jennifer's memory may be made to Hospice of the Fisher House, 1165 North Pleasant St., Amherst, MA 01002.
