Research Notes

This profile was partially conflated with John Tilton (abt.1740-aft.1784) who was the son of Daniel Tilton from New Jersey and was married to Jane Tilton (1741-1824), a duplicate of this John Tilton's sister Jane Tilton (1741-aft.1780).

This profile had the correct parents, but incorrect wife and child, which are connected to the other John Tilton. This John Tilton married Bethia Tilton and moved to Easton, New York and died in Cambridge, New York. His sister Jane's profile was duplicated as was his mother Sarah (Gibbs) Tilton (1717-aft.1753) profile. [1]
