Biography

Matthew (Mattheus) was baptised on 12 May 1657 at Bere Ferrers, son of Johanis (John) Tindall and Anne. ^{[1] [2]}

He matriculated at the age of 15 to Lincoln College, Oxford on 21 Mar 1672/3 and was awarded a BA, BCL and DCL. ^[2]

He died at Grays Inn on 16 Aug 1733. ^[2] and left a will probated at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. His nephew Nicholas Tindall was residuary legatee and executor. ^[3]
