James Boyd Tindle or "Jim" as he preferred, was born on March 31, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Boyd Victor Tindle Jr and Betty Louise Bell.
Jim grew up in the Dallas, Texas area surrounded by numerous family members.
In his early 20's he worked alongside his uncle Don Lacey as an ambulance driver and paramedic for Southland Funeral Home and ambulance service in it's early beginnings when Southland was on Main Street in Grand Prairie, Texas. Southland's first and original location in the early 60's.
Jim married Frances Mae Jones on June 16, 1967 in Dallas, Texas and had one son named Chuck or Charles. Jim and Frances divorced on October 1, 1971. Frances later remarried to (unknown) and her husband adopted Chuck and changed his last name.
Jim married Norma June Lancaster on May 19, 1972 in Dallas, Texas and a daughter, Jima Jolene Tindle was born in 1974. Jim and June divorced a few years later.
Jim married a third time to Patricia Ann Arnold about 1978. They had one son, Brian Edward Tindle born in 1980.
Jim passed away on November 29, 2001 in Dallas, Texas while on the operating table due to complications during leg surgery. (This information is from his son Brian)
