Ephraim Tinkham was born on April 30, 1733 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay. His parents were Samuel Tinkham and Melatiah Eddy.[1]
He died on November 05, 1769 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[3]
Probate
His inventory was taken on 9 March 1770 in Middleborough.[4]
In 1772, an account of his estate by Silas Tinkham was recorded which included debts received, debts paid, and administration fees.[5]
In 1773, William Shaw of Middleborough was granted the guardianship of his children, Sarah, Samuel, and Ephraim.[6]
In 1773, his daughter Abigail Tinkham above the age of 14 years, made the choice of William Shaw of Middleborough to be her guardian.[7]
In 1774, the guardian, William Shaw of Middleborough to his children petitioned the court with the consent of Adam Wright and Sarah his wife, and mother of the children, to sell the land of the four children (the eldest a daughter, and the youngest a son of about four years of age.[8]
