Biography

Mary, the daughter of Ephraim Tinkham, was borne the fift of August, 1661, in Plymouth.[1][2] Mary's mother was Mary (Browne) Tinkham, a daughter of Mayflower passenger Peter Browne.[2]

Mary married John Tomson about 1680. John, son of John and Mary (Cooke) Tomson, was born in Plymouth 24 Nov 1649 and died in Middleboro 25 Nov 1725 in his 77th year. He was a grandson of Mayflower passenger Francis Cooke.[2]

John's will was dated 19 Oct 1724 and proved 23 Dec 1725. He named his eldest son John; sons Ephriam and Jacob; wife, Mary; daughters, Mary, Martha, and Sarah Tomson; sons Shubaal, Thomas, Peter, Ebenezer and Frances; "my eleven children."[2][3]

Mary Tomson, widow of John, died at Middleboro in 1731 ae 67 [sic].[2][4]
