Harry Douglas Tinney, 420 Notre Dame Avenue, died Wednesday night (May 4 1938) at his residence aged 51 years. He had been ill since he underwent an operation last September. Mr. Tinney was born in Cobourg, Ontario and had resided in Winnipeg for the past 39 years, 37 of which he was employed in the stereotyping department of the Free Press. Besides his widow, six sons survive Frank in British Columbia, Jack, Pat, Douglas, Richard and Frederick all of Winnipeg and three daughters Margaret, Eleanor and Verna at home. There are also two brothers Fred of the Free Press stereotyping department and Frank of Hargrave, Manitoba.
