Biography

Frank was born in 1867. He lived with his parents and siblings in Ghent, Columbia, New York in 1870 ^[1] and with her mother and siblings in 1880. ^[2] Frank was a farmer in 1900. ^[3]

Frank married Anna George, but was a widower by 1910. ^[4]

Frank (age 45), son of Jacob Tipple & Sarah Hover, married Mayme Moore on 2 June 1913 in Columbia, New York, United States.^[5] They lived in Hudson, New York in 1920, where Frank was an automobile salesman. ^[6]

Frank passed away in 1921. ^[7]

Research Notes

Note: According to the Cowen book (Gravestone Inscriptions), Jacob P. Tipple, Sarah M. Hover, Frank W., Anna George (Frank's second wife), and Sadie Bell (?) b. 1886, d. 1906 were grouped together in the cemetery along with Van Slyck, Leggett, Van Valkenburgh, Hadley, many Kittle, Truax, Kline persons. Perhaps Sadie Bell was th twin who died. If so, her twin sister was Bessie H.

In the 1900 Census, Frank is shown as having been born in March 1869. He is single and a farmer, living with his mother Sarah, b. Nov 1829, who had one child (?) and one living.

John L. is noted on Anna's birth certificate as her father. However, in all other records, baptism, confirmation, marriage and death, her father is Frank Tipple.
