Biography
When John Tipton was born on August 15, 1730, his father, Jonathan, was 31 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 31. He married Mary Butler and they had 13 children together. He then married Martha Denton and they had two children together. He died on August 9, 1813, in Washington, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 82 years.
