Bethiah Tisdale was born about 1710 in Taunton, Massachusetts, the daughter of
Joseph Tisdale and Ruth Reed.[1] She has been named in publications as Bathsheba, Bethsheba, Bethia, etc. The name inscribed on her tombstone is "Bethiah" and it states that she died in the 49th year of her life, making her birth ca 1710.[2] Her father's will refers to her as "Bathia Walker."[3][4]
Bethia married Elnathan Walker, as his second wife; they were the parents of nine children:[5]
