Known to all there friends as Jeff and Mary, they settled on a farm in Tiffin Township on the banks of he tiffin river known as bean creek where ten children were born to that union.
Arthur, Henry, Eve, Ida, Bertha, Ruth, James, Ervin, George and Melvin which was born in 1904. In 1913 the move to Evansport OH to care for Sarah M. Tittle (Jeff's Mother) until she passed away in 1915. Jeff worked in a sawmill until 1917 and moved back to the arm unil it was sold ten retired in Defiance OH.
The last two years of his retirement he developed cataracts on bot eyes. He went to Cincinatti to a methodist hopital. The operation was a success but other complicaions st in and he passed away. Mary live on with Ben and Eva Stock until whe passed away in 1939.
