Margaret was born about 1860 in the Town of Kilkenny, County of Kilkenny, Leinster Province, Southeast Ireland. She was the daughter of James Tobin (a Farmer) and Ellen Kealy. She passed away in 1912 in the suburb of Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria.
