John Todd was born on April 2, 1755, in Bedminster, New Jersey. He served in the military on May 1, 1777, in New Jersey when he was 22 years old. John fought against the British during the Revolutionary War. John married Jane Todd in Bedminster, New Jersey, on August 6, 1782, when he was 27 years old. John Todd died on September 4, 1820, in Bedminster, New Jersey, when he was 65 years old.

Now that I've posted military stickers for this profile, they don't seem to add up. Was he born in Ireland? Was he a Major? Is everything so uncertain that we should take the stickers down?
