The estimated marriage date to Daniel, in 1867, is based on the birth and death of Isabella and Daniel's first child, a male, who was born and died on 12 Nov 1868 in Philadelphia.

The writer was able to confirm the parents of Mary E Toland via the records of Mary's second marriage to Thomas J Morrissey Jr. Mary E Toland Dale's parents are named in the Delaware marriage documents. Mother is Isabella Skivington. Father is Michael Toland. Full names of the parents of both the bride and groom can be found on the hand-written Delaware, Marriage Records, 1806-1933, Marriage Registers, page 163, third marriage down, item 36536.[3]
The marriage took place on 29 May 1902 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware, United States.[4][5]
