Entered Into Eternal Rest Saturday, Oct. 15, 1994 RUPERT - Harold "Joe" Toler Sr., 70, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1994,in Fairlea Medical Center, Born Jan. 11, 1924, at Glen Alum, he was the son of the late Andy M.andElla Steele Toler. Mr. Toler was a lifelong resident of Rupert, was of the Baptist faith, was a member of Midland Trail Masonic Lodge No. 166 and was a re­tired coal miner from Leckie Smokeless Coal Co. at Angean. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Morris Toler. Survivors include his wife, Hallie G. King Toler; a daughter, Linda Kay Burrell and her husband, Michael Burrell of Williamstown, two sons, Harold L. Toler Jr. and his wife, Jennifer Gutshall Toler of Rupert and Douglas W. Toler and his wife, Cindy Smith Toler of Powhatan, Va.; two sisters, Doris Shupe of Belvedere, S.C. and Madeline Lawson of Narrows, Va.; a granddaughter, Meredith Lynn Burrell and four grandsons, Michael J. Burrell II, Jeffery B. Burrell, Harold Toler III and Bradley Toler. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel, Rainelle with Rev. J.D. Surbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville, with Masonic rites.
