He had four siblings, namely: Frank, Margaret Jane, Olive Elizabeth, and Rupert John Thomas. He died on 12 Jul 1954^[2] in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 23, he married Ethel Albertha Katherine Walters, daughter of John Walters and Catherine Hopkins, on 25 Nov 1903^[3] in Burwood, New South Wales, Australia.
