Biography
John Henry Tolson was born about 1854, the son of Eliza (Sowden) Tolson and Edward Tolson.
He married Louisa Alford on 16 March 1878 in Woranga, Victoria, Australia.[1]

- Sarena Pearce TOLSON 1882-1955
- John Edward TOLSON 1884-1954
- Christina TOLSON 1887-1948
- Henry TOLSON 1890-1935

John died on 26 August 1934 in 7 King St, East St Kilda, Victoria, aged 79 years.[2] and was buried at the St. Kilda Cemetery[3].

- TOLSON.— On the 26th August, at his residence, 7 King-street, East St. Kilda, John Henry, the dearly beloved husband of Louisa, loved father of Grace, Sarena, John, Christina, Harry, Rose (deceased) and Ruth; eldest son-in-law of the late Mrs. John Alford, of Maffra; aged 80 years. A patient sufferer at rest.
