Biography
William was born about 1860 in Haslington near Crewe, Cheshire and his wife Kate was born in Wheelock, Cheshire about 1861. [1]
By 1901 William is widowed and living with his seven children at 171 West Street, Crewe: Lucy (19), Olive [Alice] (11), Annie (13), William (9), Thomas (7), Carrie (5) and Kate (3). [2]
