Biography

Emma Tomlinson was born about 1859 in Burnley, Lancashire. She was the daughter of Charles and Ellen Tomlinson.

Emma married Harry Stow on 24 Dec 1885 at St Stephen's Church in Burnley, Lancashire. Both were 26 years old, and neither had been married before. Harry was a cutlooker, and lived at 101 Brunshaw Road; Emma lived at 64 Todmorden Road. Their fathers were named as Thomas Stow (grocer) and Charles Tomlinson (gentleman). The witnesses were Fred Lord and Martha Tomlinson.
